Mental Health Services
Helplink’s qualified, Garda vetted counsellors are available for appointments 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and 12 to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday. Since its inception, our Counsellors have provided over 4000 appointments to clients online nationally and also face-to-face (Galway only). We provide General Counselling, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Couples Counselling, Addiction Counselling and Bereavement Therapy within this service.find out more ->
Conflict Resolution Services
Conflict Resolution Centre (CRC): in our CRC centre there is a donation based Mediation Service for people dealing with family/housing or community disputes; in addition we provide Ireland’s first national Online Mediation Service. The CRC has also developed and piloted a programme for the community beginning with secondary schools. This programme, called ‘Changing Conflict’, provides people with the skills and techniques to manage conflict in a more productive manner.find out more ->

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Lochlann Scott holds a BA in Psychological Studies (NUI Galway), a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology (OU) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Psychology (University of Ulster). He was also the winner of the ‘One to Watch’ Social Entrepreneur SCCUL Awards in 2011 and the 2016 runner-up in the same category. Before founding Helplink Lochlann worked in Social Care for many years and previous to this held management roles in the retail and hospitality sectors. He founded Helplink Support Services (helplink.ie) because he saw there was a need to be more innovative in how we provide social services to our communities both at home and abroad.

Tammie Scott holds a MA in Counselling Psychology from Boston College and an MBA from NUI Galway. She is accredited and/or member/associate member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP), British Psychological Society (BPS), American Psychologies Association (APA) and is an accredited supervisor with APCP. Furthermore, Tammie has many years experience in managing internationally traded companies and also in the management of academic programmes for third level institutions.
Head of Mediation Services & Programme Director
Lorraine Lally holds an LL.B in Irish Law as well as an LLM (International Human Rights) from National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). Lorraine is a practicing barrister and mediator who is a member of the Bar Council of Ireland. Lorraine works as a mediator in the area of family law in particular concerning the areas of access, guardianship, and custody in relation to children and separation of couples and co-habitees. She is also Head of Mediation Services & Programme Director within or Conflict Resolution Centre.
